As a veterinary practice we are considered an essential service for your pets. During this time we will be operating as normal, albeit in a limited capacity.
We are awaiting further information from the New Zealand Veterinary Association, as to what restrictions will be placed on us, the following us up to date with the information we currently have to hand.
How will it work?
All consultations must be booked in advance on the phone. Please let us know as much information as you can when you book an appointment as to what symptoms you are seeing in your pet.
We can discuss the best method of consultation for your pet, skype from home, or with your pet in the clinic.
All consultations, surgical or cattery admissions we ask that you please stay in your vehicle on arrival, call us to let us know you’ve arrived. One of the team will then come to collect your pet to bring them in for Mike to carry out an, examination, he will call, Facetime or Skype with you to discuss treatment plans. Standard consultation fees apply.
We are setting up our eftpos terminal to be able to process your credit card number over the phone and return your pet to you at your vehicle. Please keep in mind full payment is due at the time of consultation.
We are unable to do housecalls or offer our Pet Taxi Service until further notice.
Help keep us safe
We are a small team, and in order for us to be able to stay open to provide healthcare, food and prescriptions for your pets, we need the team to stay well. Please do not come to the clinic if you are unwell, ask a friend to bring your pet to us. Please work with us with the strategies put in place to keep us all safe, your patience and flexibility is appreciated.
Prescriptions
We are still able to fill prescriptions, you must phone ahead to request these be dispensed, and please give us one weeks notice.
Our main suppliers will continue to deliver to us during Alert Level 4, and while we have no immediate supply concerns we have noticed some delays in supply. Therefore we ask that you give us plenty of advance notice when prescriptions are due. We will keep you updated as to this evolving situation.
Home Delivery
We are offering free contactless home delivery of food and prescriptions and we hope you will consider this an option over using online stores, this keeps your money local, keeps a small business going, and you’ll find our prices are really competitive!
